Sunday Shopping

By the term “Sunday shopping” we mean the day when the shop owners are given a chance to open there shops on Sundays as well to sell there products. In many countries it is treated as a Christian day, it is a day of rest according to them, so in that countries trading on Sunday's is totally banned. If a country allows to do any trading or shopping on sunday then the governing body usually fix shopping hours. The terms and conditions for shopping varies from country to country hence there shopping hours too get different.

In countries like Australia, every state and territory have different rules and regulations. Some of the states give 7 hours off on sunday, and some of the states make saturday off, and give the chance to retailers to open there shops on sundays so that they can make profits. However if a shop keeper wants to open a shop on Sunday and wants to do trading, he is not allowed to call every worker that he/she has employed, like if the shopkeeper has hired 7 people to work on his shop on daily basis, then on sunday he can only call either 3 to 4 workers. If a person owns a shop of medicines then he is allowed to do trading on sunday as people might require medicine at the time of emergency, similarly if the people have a shop that deals in either selling of flowers, newspapers etc, they are not allowed to do open there shops. So if you want to do shopping then do not opt sunday for shopping, as most of the shops are closed.

Now as the people are not allowed to sell there goods and items on sundays, hence very little chance to gain profits, but people have now started to do shopping on sundays through online. They can buy anything they feel like even on sundays, as you don't have to pay any extra charges, hence this makes your shopping very easy. One of the main advantage to go for online shopping even on sundays is that the big companies give you very exciting offers specially on sundays, as the people are not allowed to do shopping outside, but as people still want to buy new and new things, so in order to make people buy new things on sundays, these new offers helps the companies in many ways. But one of the main advantage of banning sunday shopping in many countries is, people now do a lot of shopping on weak days rather than opting for sunday. Sunday shopping is still a very complicated issue in many countries, but people are trying level best in resolving this issue through effective talks and discussions.
