Shopping Malls

A shopping mall is a building which contain many outlets . These outlets are mostly the retail outlets a shopping mall consist of many walkways that help the visitors to move from one floor to another.

Way back in 1920 the concept of strip malls were introduced in united states of America and in many other countries as well due to suburban living. Countries like Britain etc. the shopping malls were known as retails parks etc.

There are many top class shopping malls in the world. two of the famous and in fact one of the largest malls of china is the “south china mall” and the other is “jin yuan”. Dubai too is known for its largest mall known as “Dubai mall”, it is one of the largest mall in middle east and is ranked 7th in the world. West Edmonton mall of Canada was ranked among the 5 top malls in the world.

Mall or a shopping mall is a place which consist of a number of different shops, it may also be known as a pedestrian street which helps the shoppers to walk in and around the shops without thinking about the traffic. In countries like America and in some parts of Australia malls are generally known as a single building which contain various retails and shopping outlets consisting of various food courts and giving space to the people for parking there vehicles in the same area or in a same complex.

Shopping malls are popular because of many reasons but one of the main reasons for its popularity is the international appeal. Earlier shopping malls where present and located only in countries like Singapore etc but now we can find shopping malls in almost every country. Many people find shopping malls as a best place for shopping and hangouts as they provide free entry, along with good music playing all the time and helps the person in searching different, new items and helps them to buy them too. Shopping malls also consist of numerous food joints that helps the person to taste variety of food as well.
